Women Warriors: The Voices of Change is a ground-breaking, 70 minute documentary film that honors the strength and heroism of global activists fighting for social justice, human and civil rights, LGBTQ rights, indigenous rights, environmental causes, minority rights, gender equality and for the right of every girl to an education. This film highlights the lives of over sixty-five activists, spanning 700 years, who have been ignored in the media or left out of the history books.

This stunning orchestral soundtrack has been nominated for a 2022 GRAMMY® Award and features the music of celebrated Hollywood film composers Nathalie Bonin, Miriam Cutler, Anne-Kathrin Dern, Isolde Fair, Sharon Farber, Penka Kouneva, Starr Parodi and Lolita Ritmanis with the Riga Cathedral Girls' Choir TIARA.



Director Biography - Amy Andersson Grammy-nominated producer and conductor Amy Andersson is writer and director of Women Warriors: The Voices of Change, a music driven documentary featuring the soundtrack of eight celebrated female composers. This ground-breaking film, which views history and the world through the eyes of women and girls, marks Ms. Andersson's debut as documentary filmmaker. Painstakingly created over the course of four years, Ms. Andersson blends her skills of orchestral conductor and emotional empath to facilitate the equal merging of compelling and riveting visuals with powerful and panoramic music. The result is a film narrative that honors the strength and heroism of global activists which touches, moves and deeply connects the viewer to the strength, resilience and contributions of womenkind.
