Over the years, the festival has effectively showcased and endorsed numerous projects at different cinemas in LA, including the Fine Arts Theatre of Beverly Hills, as well as digitally through the LA Independent Women magazine platform. The committee provides continuous promotion and screening opportunities for projects involving a female producer, director, lead actress, writer, cinematographer, editor, and composer.


The most recent IMDb qualifying competition showcases films by skilled female artists from the US and around the globe. Additionally, the festival acknowledges films by female directors in the genres of human rights, environmental, experimental, and animation.
