Nursel, a renowned actress, experienced the heartbreaking loss of her unborn child and journalist husband on the same day in the 1990s. Despite her fame in Turkey, Nursel chose to settle in France, where she now provides acting training at a workshop-cafe. One day, her friend Engin, a producer, approaches her with an offer for the lead role in a play based on Nursel's idol, Iranian Furugh Ferrohzad.
Nursel decides to return to Turkey after three decades. However, upon arriving at her home in Beyoğlu, she encounters Perisa, an unexpected presence linked to Murtaza Bey, a doorman who made an unauthorized hiring. Perisa, a mysterious and pregnant woman, forms a unique bond with Nursel, leading to a profound emotional journey for both women. In the end, Nursel delivers a remarkable performance on stage.
The screenwriter and director of short films "Asfur" and "Yüksük" was born in Adana in 1986. In 2017, she obtained a Master's Degree in Psychology. Throughout her career in private and public institutions, she has served as an academician, creative writer, project manager, and media communication coordinator, focusing on human relations. Her professional trajectory took a significant turn in 2011 when she engaged with the "Altınoran Düşünce ve Sanat Platformu" in Adana, delving into photography, video, art history, philosophy, and ultimately shifting her focus. In 2016, she wrote and directed the award-winning short film "Asfur," shedding light on the refugee experience, which garnered recognition at 17 national and international festivals. Her debut feature-length script titled 'Unfeeling' received support from the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2020, with production backing in 2021. Emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach to enhance creativity in her projects, she continues her artistic endeavors in Istanbul.
