This film deals with the restrictive nature of women's clothing throughout the ages and also with sexism in general.




Director Biography - Ingrid Nachstern Ingrid Nachstern is Director of Night Star Dance Company established in 2003. She has created three Screendance/Experimental films. Table Manners/Stopping at Red Lights and Freedom-to go! have been screened internationally and won seven awards between them. She has also performed in MoMA New York (Steve Paxton),Lincoln Centre (Buglisi Dance Theatre),DTW ('Who Am I?'-her own work),El Graner and La Caldera Barcelona (BIDE),Buenos Aires (BAIDE), and with John Scott Dance and Junk Ensemble in Ireland.Shoe Horn/Office has been screened at the Brooklyn Film Festival,a Remi Winner at 51st WorldFEST Houston,Screen Dance International,Honorable Mention Experimental Forum Los Angeles,Best Experimental film Los Angeles Movie Awards,Light Moves Screendance Festival,Certificate of Achievement Indie Short Fest(IMDb) Los Angeles,Bronze Award Independent Shorts Award Los Angeles,Movimiento en Movimiento Mexico City,AIFVF Athens Ohio,ADF's Movies by Movers,Award of Merit IndieFEST(IMDb) California,Award of Merit (Special Mention Experimental) Best Shorts California.
